AG Parts Technician

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused Parts Technician to join our team!

Job summary

As a parts Technician, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries related to agriculture parts, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products. You will manage day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, as well as maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Answer phones, text and emails in a professional and timely manner
Take customer orders at the counter and over the phone or email, provide quotes, follow-up on back orders and perform invoicing
Look up part via computer and paper and update prices to facilitate future searches
Perform receiving/shipping duties
Manage inventory control, including daily cycle counts and inventory counts as needed
Perform light local pick-ups (Driver's Abstract required).
And other duties as required

Profile

Apprentice/Journeyman, Part Technician or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and computer knowledge
A willingness to learn and be trained
Knowledge of the agriculture industry is an asset
Fluent in English with Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to time manage appropriately
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, and self motivated
