We may also consider a strong candidate who has third-year hours started.
Responsibilities:
- Sourcing, pricing, and ordering parts
- Generating and attaching purchase orders (POs) to work orders
- Inventory management and organization
- Ordering parts from manufacturers and tracking deliveries
- Daily interaction with technicians and job coordinators
- Counter sales and customer support
- Overseeing and expediting parts orders
- Maintaining overall care, cleanliness, and organization of the parts department
Requirements:
- Journeyman Parts Technician certification preferred
- Third-year apprentice with hours started may be considered
- Self-motivated, driven, and reliable
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Team-oriented individual who can think on their feet
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and punctuality
- Mechanical background is an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 30 lbs
- Able to move up and down stairs easily in a multi-level department
- Willing to work some weekends and on-call hours during busy seasons
