Job summary
As a parts Technician, you will be responsible for addressing customer inquiries related to agriculture parts, processing orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products. You will manage day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, as well as maintain inventory levels to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer phones, text and emails in a professional and timely manner
- Take customer orders at the counter and over the phone or email, provide quotes, follow-up on back orders and perform invoicing
- Look up part via computer and paper and update prices to facilitate future searches
- Perform receiving/shipping duties
- Manage inventory control, including daily cycle counts and inventory counts as needed
- Perform light local pick-ups (Driver's Abstract required).
- And other duties as required
Profile
- Apprentice/Journeyman, Part Technician or equivalent experience
- In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, inventory management, and computer knowledge
- A willingness to learn and be trained
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry is an asset
- Fluent in English with Strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities and the ability to time manage appropriately
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team, and self motivated
